KADA: Built by Makers, for Makers.
Say goodbye to breadboard chaos and soldering frustration. The KADA I2C GPIO Expander is a fully modular control system designed for DIYers, IoT devs, and automation enthusiasts who want clean, scalable, no-solder solutions.
With the MCP23017 at its core, this board features isolated 12V inputs via PC817 optocouplers, an output PCB ready for relays or actuator control, and a third board for clean Raspberry Pi or Arduino integration — all communicating over standard Ethernet cables.
It’s plug-and-play. It’s stackable. And it mounts on DIN rails like a pro.
Whether you're automating your smart home, building industrial controls, or prototyping your next big IoT invention, KADA helps you move faster and cleaner — without the need to solder a thing.
The I2C address bits are selectable using the on-board solder switches. The MCP23017 supports up to 8 different I2C addresses so with MCP23017 microcontroller on each board you can stack up to 8 expansion boards on a single Raspberry Pi giving a maximum of 128 I/O ports.
MCP23017 can work with Python, MicroPython, Home Assistant, C, C++, Node.js and .Net Core software libraries
✅ All-in-One I/O Expansion
No need for multiple boards or messy soldering. KADA combines MCP23017 GPIO expander, opto-isolated inputs, and relay-ready outputs into one compact system.
✅ Safe 12V Logic Input Isolation
Built-in PC817 optocouplers protect your controller and ensure safe integration with sensors, switches, and other 12V logic systems.
✅ Plug-and-Play Simplicity
Pre-soldered, pre-configured. Just connect via Ethernet cables—no wires, no hassle. Start building in minutes, not hours.
✅ Modular & Stackable Design
Designed for clean scalability. Easily stack and extend your I/O system using standard Ethernet cables. Perfect for automation and smart projects.
✅ Pro-Level Mounting Options
DIN rail-ready housing for Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or ESP32 makes it install-friendly for pro enclosures and industrial control boxes.
