Nero 7 Speed

εγω ρε παιδιά που ''επαιξα'' με το nero recode της 7ης εκδοσης, αντι να μου συμπιεζει πχ τα 8GB σε 4.7GB μου τα συμπίεζε στα 3-4!! κι οποτε ξαναγύρισα στο 6αρι

Με τα προβληματα που εχει η εκδοση 6.x (γιατι αλλιως δεν θα εβγαζαν update κάθε βδομάδα! ..) δε βλεπω γιατι να βαλεις μια εκδοση για την οποια ουτε what's new δεν έβγαλαν. Ποιες ειναι οι νεες λειτουργίες/βελτιώσεις?

Για ενα αβλαβές πρόγραμμα το καταλαβαίνω, αλλα τα λαθη του Nero στοιχίζουν λεφτά, καμένα σουβεράκια.

I downloaded this 528mb or so. I burn't 3 DVD image files one of which was my first ever Taiyo Yuden coaster (μτφ. ΣΟΥΒΕΡΑΚΙ) the other 2 were fine. Then did 4 audio cd's all of which were bad burns (TDK media) with track skipping and failing to read in parts. Took another 5 failed cd-r's to decide to go back to version 6.6.0.16. Had no failures at all since then.

I am looking at Alcohol and apon further inspection it will burn DVDs. I am also not sure why this program is 500 Megs, it has alot of features except burning DVDs.

I did a little testing of V7. Nero Burning ROM abends after you run Nero Express the first time. Nero Vision Express the video and audio are out of sinc again. It took Nero a year to get it working in NVE31016.

I would guess this V7 product was started about 6-7 months ago and all the fixes that are in 66016 have not been included.

I would say to wait about 6 months after the release date before swiching.

It worked 2 times and started repeatedly crashing.

To solve it without having to make any changes in your registry, reset everything to default in Nero Burning Rom each time you open Nero Express. This bug or security measure occurs across all versions of Nero 7, whether it be retail or a downloaded version. It especially occurs if you have installed a prior version of Nero that has been pirated. At times cleaning your registry of all Nero entries helps, other times a complete formatting of your harddrive is required first.

From what I've read, Nero is aware of this problem and is working on it.

Seems to be more of a problem for those running Windows XP Pro SP2.

i cleaned the registry and no luck, also used registry mechanic.

Many many people have reported the Nero Burning ROM abend. There are also other issues that have not been addressed as follows:

1. Nero Vision Express has a sync problem where the video doesn't match the audio.

2. New burned audio CDs have skips.

Reverted back to V6 and the above problems go away !!!!!

I think the best thing to do is always format if all else fails. Going back to the Nero 6 is also a good idea.
