We had reported in Sept. that MS had already planned a second price cut, but the company had decided to ride out the last price reduction until sales slowed. More after the jump: The new price cut goes into effect immediately and includes a driver disc and a demo of the title Forza Motorsport 2. The peripheral, which features force feedback support, is compatible with most racing titles to include Forza Motorsport 2, Project Gotham Racing 4, Test Drive Unlimited, Need for Speed Carbon, and Nascar 08. Microsoft in Aug. said it would offer a free retrofit for the Wireless Racing Wheel after complaints that a component in the wheel chassis may overheat and release smoke when the AC/DC power supply is used to recharge the peripheral.

After a fleeting appearance on the Xbox Live Arcade this week, Sensible World of Soccer was pulled after it was discovered that a bug had slipped through the cracks and made it into the final release. The error affected users attempting to connect to Xbox Live matches. Today, Codemasters announced that it has mastered the code and fixed the bug. Sensible World of Soccer is once more available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points. Those who downloaded the broken version are advised to delete the game from their Xbox 360 and then download the new code. This second download will not charge those who purchased the game already again.
