Mafia II Collector’s Edition

Pre-orders are being accepted now for both the standard and Collector’s Edition ($69.99) on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, which will hit retail on August 24 in the US and Europe August 27.

Mafia 2 axes multiple endings

 

Mafia 2 has axed plans to include multiple endings, senior producer Denby Grace, has revealed.

 

Speaking in an interview with IGTV, the 2K man revealed that at one point Mafia 2 had four different endings, but they were cut to due to their lack of quality.

 

"We had four multiple endings at one point in the game, and then we looked at it and we had one really outstanding great ending to end our story," he said.

 

"We just said 'You know what? Let's just ditch these other endings, this is the ending everyone wants' and that's one thing we're happy with making that choice."

 

With Mafia 2 reportedly taking over 15 hours to complete we'd rather have one good ending over three mediocre ones.

Το λέει σαν minimum των high και την έχω δώσει την 8800 στον κολλητό μου. Σιγά μην την ζητάω για να την βάλω για το Mafia2

Ε ναι δεν αξιζει.....Σιγα τα PhysX που θα εχει το Mafia,καθαρα marketing θα ειναι οπως και σε πολλα αλλα.

Είναι που το Physx σπέρνει και δεν πρέπει να εξαφανιστεί από την αγορά για να μην ανασάνουν ποτέ τα physics...

Μαλακιες τουμπανα λεω εγω...

Το θέμα είναι ότι είναι ο μοναδικός τρόπος που έχω δει μέχρι στιγμής για να αποφευχθεί το clipping που τρώμε τόσα χρόνια στην μάπα. Σαφώς και όπως είπα δεν αξίζει να βάλεις μια 8800GTX για τα συγκεκριμένα εφέ αυτή την περίοδο (και ειδικά στο Mafia2 που φαίνεται για gimmicks effects), στο μέλλον όμως θα έχει πάρα πολύ ενδιαφέρον... ειδικά αν δεν βρεθεί κάποιος άλλος τρόπος για να μην υπάρχει το καταραμένο το clipping!
