But don't worry, I will understand answers also in greek - I have some greek helpers here... We have a HP Pavilion dv6356ea Notebook PC, pre-installed with Vista Home and installed now XP Prof. SP2 (english) after formating the harddisk. This threaed helped us already to install the sound drivers (in the correct order...) - now the only the network interfaces are left and we can't find a solution for this... Until now we installed - HP Wireless Assistant - Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp33867) - Conexant High Definition Audio Driver - NVIDIA GeForce Series Video Driver - HDAUDIO Soft Data Fax Modem with SmartCP succesfully. Wenn installing NVIDIA nForce Chipset Driver and Network Controller, the installation process is aborted. After some seconds the window just disappers. The Wireless Assistant is working, but neither the WLAN-Device has drivers nor the networkcard (for RJ45). Does anybody have some hints for us? Some more information for others who have problems before installing XP: the SATA-problem when installing XP exists also with HP-notebooks. Our first try to install Windows XP failed, because the installation cd announced that no harddisks could be found. We solved the problem by disabling the option SATA Native Support in System Configuration in the BIOS, afterwards the Windows XP installation CD found the harddisk normally. AFAIK disabling this option makes the harddisk little bit slower (but only a few percent - more information can be found through searching for "native SATA"). I suppose it's possible to install SATA-drivers (can be found on HP-webpage, i suppose here but I am not sure if it's the newest version) after installing XP and enabling the BIOS option again. If you want you could also try an alternative method: don't disable it in the BIOS, but copy the drivers to the CD and load them before the installation by pressing F6 when requested (this instruction might help you). Unfortunatly I don't have the direct link or more information, but it might help you to search for more details about your hardware with tools like PC Wizard. Καλή τύχη! kparis1976 Δημοσ. 7 Ιουλίου 2008 Share Δημοσ. 7 Ιουλίου 2008 Καλημερα ,μετα απο 3 μηνες συμβιωσης με τα vista στο laptop μου , αποφασισα να βαλω xp,διαπιστωσα οτι στην HP δεν υπηρχαν drivers για xp λειτουργικο. Μετα απο search ειδα τα post που εχουν κανει καποια μελη παραπανω,απευθυνομαι στον joker99 μιας και εχουμε το ιδιο laptop , εβαλα τους drivers απο το link που εχει παραθεσει και δεν μου δουλεψαν η καρτα γραφικων ,η καρτα δικτυου,και καποια αλλα που δεν ξερω τι ειναι ,αφου τα βαλατε και σας δουλεψαν,σας παρακαλω την βοηθεια σας γιατι θα το σπασω λογω vista και ειναι κριμα.
