Δεν ξέρω τι παίζει ακόμα με τα themes και γενικότερα βλέπω ότι η μετάβασα σε plasma 5 γίνεται σταδιακά με αποτέλεσμα κάποια πράγματα να σπάνε...Ούτε καν ήξερα ότι το breeze θα αντικαταστήσει το oxygen (τώρα το googlαρα και από μία γρήγορη ματιά αυτό κατάλαβα....)

ήθελα να γράψω κάτι για όσους δεν το γνωρίζουν, από ότι βλέπω έχει αναφερθεί πριν 2-3 χρόνια εδώ στο τοπικ

Είχα σοβαρά προβλήματα στο PC της δουλειάς όπου μόλις φόρτωνα πολλά προγράμματα (π.χ 3 βάσεις, virtualbox, 6-7 tabs σε browser, IDE ανοιχτό), μετά και να έκλεινα τα μισά προγράμματα τα άλλα συνέχιζαν να σέρνονται. Μειώνοντας το swappiness και το vfs_cache_pressure προς το παρόν φαίνεται να συμπεριφέρεται πολύ καλύτερα...

 

βέβαια έχω ακόμα πολλές δοκιμές να κάνω (π.χ είδα μερικοί να προτείνουν το zswap)

Recent Linux kernels (4.0.2+, LTS 3.14.41+), pushed to the [core] repository in the past couple of weeks, were affected by a bug that can cause data corruption on file systems mounted with the `discard` option and residing on software RAID 0 arrays.
The issue has been addressed in the linux 4.0.4-2 and linux-lts 3.14.43-2 updates. Due to the nature of the bug, however, it is likely that data corruption has already occurred on systems running the aforementioned kernels. It is strongly advised to verify the integrity of affected file systems using`fsck` and/or restore their data from known good backups.
