Πρόσφατα το the verge πόσταρε ένα άρθρο συν βίντεο στο youtube.

There are so many things flat out wrong about that video.

Here’s a couple:

0:12 – Saying that one can build a PC for around $1,000 is bit too much generalization.

0:35 – Those are called zip-ties.

0:37 – A Swiss Army knife? And "hopefully has a Phillips-head screwdriver"? What you really need is an actual Phillips screwdriver.

0:41 – I don’t think that strap will help too much. Get an actual anti-static wrist strap with a wire that you can hook it up to somewhere.

2:22 – You should really test the system outside the case before screwing them down in the case.

2:22 – The CPU and RAM should be installed outside of the case. You know, it makes it easier.

2:30 – Screw in with confidence? What’s that supposed to mean?

2:47 – That’s not called a brace. That’s an I/O shield.

2:52 – Hammering down the I/O shield is totally unnecessary.

3:24 – 2,666 MHz isn’t that fast.

4:15 – Games really don’t need very fast storage. Installing games on a separate and larger mechanical hard drive makes much more sense as it won’t effect performance noticeably.

4:23 – Why are you installing the graphics card before the CPU and CPU cooler?

4:39-4:50 – This whole bit is incorrect. Different PCIe slots can (and most likely will) have different bandwidth. So, a full-sized x16 slot could be x16 electrically or could be x8 depending on the motherboard.

4:47 – Really? You guys installed the RAM into the wrong slots. For dual channel operation, with two DIMMs, they should be installed in the second and fourth slot. Some systems won’t even POST when memory is installed into the wrong slots.

5:00 – With most cases you do need to screw down PCIe expansion cards.

5:08 – Pretty sure you can get by with a 750 W or even a 650 even with a "ray-tracing" card.

5:19 – Those "insulating pads" don’t insulate anything. They’re there just to raise the power supply up a little bit.

5:23 – What? "So that the power supply doesn’t short-circuit and come into contact with the rest of the system?" What kind of madness is this? Dude, the power supply is enclosed in a housing for a reason. Also, the PSU will short the system if it doesn’t touch the "insulating pads", but won’t short it when it touches the back of the case?

5:42 – The CPU should be installed before the cooler.

5:49 – Hose… they’re called tubes.

6:11 – The longer screws are used when you’re installing the radiator through a set of fans. When the radiator is directly installed on the case without any fans in between, the shorter screws are used.

6:18 – It’s easier to install the modular PSU cables onto the PSU first before installing the PSU.

6:20 – There are also non-modular PSUs that have all the cables fixed onto the PSU itself.

7:03 – The plastic cover on the CPU socket pops off when you install the CPU. There’s no need to remove it before installing the CPU.

7:16 – Umm, CPU "socket", not "holder", or "slot".

7:22 – The CPU installation tool is completely unnecessary. You literally just drop the CPU onto the socket in the right orientation.

7:37 – "Yeah, we’ve got one." [LET’S ALL CRINGE]

8:15 – What are you doing? There’s already some bloody thermal paste on the CPU cooler. Either use that or if you’re going to apply third-party paste, remove the existing paste.

8:26 – Also that’s some terrible thermal paste application job. All you need is a little dot the size of an uncooked grain or rice (larger dots or even lines for larger CPUs)

8:35 – I noticed that you guys never told us how to install the CPU backplate.

9:05 – My goodness, that’s some bad cable management.

9:15 – Technically you don’t need a license key to run Windows 10.

9:43 – I hope you’re not running LoL as a benchmark.

I had enough of this. Anyways. Look, I don’t hate you guys. But if you’re gonna post a video, please do it right. Unless anyone will publish a new video that’s corrected, please take down this misleading and flat out wrong video.

Δεν είναι τεχνικός. Είναι wannabe pc builder, όμως ρε φίλε, όταν ανεβάζεις σε ένα site όπως αυτό ένα τέτοιο βίντεο, κάνε ένα research πριν το ανεβάσεις.... Ή μην το ανεβάζεις αν είσαι άσχετος. 

Σαν να μην έφταναν όλα, εκτός του ότι δεν παραδέχονται τα λάθη τους, έχουν αφαιρέσει το comment section , το ίδιο και τα like/dislike...

Θεούλης ο Kyle, από τα πιο αστεία βίντεο που έχω δει τελευταία.

απλα μου φανηκε υπερβολικο που σε ενοχλησε τοσο πολυ ενα ατυχες, κακο οπως θες πες το βίντεο σε καποιο site. Αυτο ειναι ολο.

Δηλαδή πως ακριβώς "μέτρησες" το πόσο με ενόχλησε το βίντεο; Εμένα μου κάνει εντύπωση πως στο "μπλα-μπλα" σχολιάζεις ένα non-troll thread. 

Anyway, υγεία να έχουμε. Το post μου έχει να κάνει με το "λόγος να γίνεται", μιας και είναι Κυριακή και είχαμε one day off και λίγο χρόνο να "στηλιτεύσουμε" ένα site που θεωρείται σοβαρό (λέμε τώρα).
