NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) took its acclaimed SLI technology to a new level today by introducing support for the industry's first ever Quad SLI-certified PC. Delivering the most extreme high definition gaming experience available on the PC, Quad SLI features four of NVIDIA's flagship GeForce® 7800 GTX GPUs with an NVIDIA nForce®4 SLI X16 motherboard. This revolutionary technology was introduced today on the forthcoming Dell XPS 600 Renegade, as part of a keynote presentation by Michael Dell at CES in Las Vegas, NV.

In addition, NVIDIA announced that Dell will be shipping the award-winning NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX 512 in the Dell XPS 600 PC.

 

As part of this technology demonstration, the Dell XPS 600 Renegade Quad SLI PC will be on display in the Dell booth (South Hall # 36521) and NVIDIA booth (South Hall #36200) at CES 2006, January 5-8th, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Θα μπαίνουμε στο Πλαίσιο π.χ. και θα φεύγουμε με 4 κάρτες γραφικών;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Δηλαδή θα δίνουμε 600Ε για την κάθε κάρτα και σύνολο 2400Ε μόνο για την κάρτα γραφικών;;;;;;;

Καλά και όταν βγουν οι καινούργιες κάρτες με υπστήριξη Dx10 (Το οποίο ακούγεται οτι δεν θα έχει προς τα πίσω συμβατότητα) τι θα της κάνει ο άλλος μετά τις 4 κάρτες?

Εγώ βλέπω πως δεν προχωρά η τεχνολογία και πάνε να κοροϊδέψουνε τον κόσμο με 2,4 και 8 σε λίγο καιρό κάρτες γραφικών. Αντί να βγάλουν κάτι πραγματικά καινότομο συνέχεια κυκλοφορούν τα ίδια και τα ίδια αλλά με μεγαλύτερη ποσότητα
