SPEED-LINK Power Feedback Leather Wheel

 

Weertzen, March 2006 – CeBIT coincided with the sales launch of the new SPEED-LINK Power Feedback Leather Wheel. The new SPEED-LINK PC steering wheel wins over users with its leather-covered steering wheel and powerful feedback provided by true DirectX support. A multi-compatible version has been launched at the same time with the 4in1 Power Feedback Leather Wheel. This steering wheel can be connected to an Xbox, a PlayStation 2 and a Game Cube, as well as a PC.

 

In Touch with Nature

 

With a real leather covering, the Power Feedback Leather Wheel provides for a luxurious driving experience. The leather wheel feels extremely grippy when in the driver's hands and inspires confidence even under the diciest of driving situations.

Powerful Feedback

 

With direct support for the DirectX protocol, the Power Feedback Leather Wheel produces particularly powerful resistance when steering. The signals transmitted by the racing simulation game are fed through directly to the SPEED-LINK steering wheel without being converted. Racing is getting close to reality all the time!

 

Realistic Input

 

A robust pedal block is provided for gas and brakes just like in a real car. If the racing driver doesnʼt want to rely on the automatic gearbox then the gears can be selected á la Tiptronic using the two control paddles.

Adjustable Steering Sensitivity

 

The driver can chose between six different steering wheel sensitivity settings. As a result, the steering wheel can be adjusted perfectly to match the different racing simulations and the driver's preferences. Level 3 is the default setting.

At 250°, the Power Feedback Leather Wheel offers a particularly wide steering lock. Through automatic detection of the maximum steering lock range from the software, the greatest possible steering lock for the steering wheel is automatically set so you donʼt have to troll through the gameʼs option menu.

The steering wheel can be fixed to a table using a table clamp and screw. The Power Feedback Leather Wheel can also be placed on your lap for that quick game in-between.

A multi-compatible version will be launched at the same time with the 4in1 Power Feedback Leather Wheel. This steering wheel can be connected to an Xbox, a PlayStation 2 and a Game Cube, as well as a PC. The RRP is ?79.99.

 

The 2in1 Force Vibration Leather Wheel is available for PlayStation 2 and PC gamers.
