100% cpu usage με το παραμικρό!!!

Τρέχω Debian testing (με όλα τα τελευταία updates) και gnome σε έναν Celeron 2.8 με 1GB RAM και GeForce 7300GS.

 

Το πρόβλημα μου είναι οτι ακόμα και αν κουνάω το mouse έχω υψηλό cpu usage. Δεν το συζητώ για να δώ video, pdf κλπ...

 

Ακόμα και όταν βλέπω τα αρχεία του συστήματος έχω 100% cpu usage.

 

Με το atop είδα οτι την περισσότερη CPU την καταναλώνει το Xorg.

 

 

Καμία πρόταση/συμβουλή;(ΟΧΙ, δεν αλλάζω distro με τίποτα...)

έχω τους "nv" (την έκδοση που έβγαλε το debian για το γνωστό θέμα...)

 

απο ότι είδα, έχω σαν module το glx παρόλο που δεν το χρησιμοποιώ. Λέτε να φταίει αυτό;

Δώσε μας lspci, dmesg, /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Οι nv drivers δεν έχουν 3d επιτάχυνση, ωστόσο δε θα έπρεπε σε καμία περίπτωση να ανεβάζει τόσο cpu usage. Επίσης δες με το top όταν σηκώνει φορτίο, τι καταμερισμό έχει αυτό, πόσο δηλαδή είναι system, πόσο user και πόσο i/o wait.

Να προτείνω να κλείσεις εντελώς τον X server και με lm sensors δες to CPU usage από κονσόλα; Αν είναι normal τότε σίγουρα φταίει κάτι που φορτώνει με τον X ή ακόμη και ο ίδιος.

είμαι κακό παιδί ο άτιμος!

 

Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω τι φταίει. Ακόμα και scrolling δεν μπορώ να κάνω χωρίς να κολλήσει!

 

Ο User τρώει όλη την cpu (98%), συγκεκριμένα το Xorg 84% ενώ ο konqueror 4%. όλα αυτά scrollarontas στην κεντρική σελίδα του insomnia.

περίεργο xorg.conf. Τουλαχιστον δεν έχει τη κλασσική μορφή που ξέρω. Κάνε ένα

dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg και ρύθμισε από την αρχή το xorg. Επίσης μη χρησιμοποιείς το nv driver αλλά αυτό της nvidia.
