Fixed Issues in this Release

• [Notebook][GeForce GTX 870M]: GPU acceleration is being used for Windows Explorer. [2003577]
• [SLI][Steam]: Steam must be closed to enable or disable SLI mode. [2091966]
• [Surround][Digital Vibrance]: Digital Vibrance setting is not persistent, and reverts to the default setting when rebooting with Surround mode enabled. [2097240]
• [Wolfenstein II]: The game may freeze in the Roosevelt area. [2114563]
• [NVIDIA Control Panel]: When Windows HDR is enabled, some color formats are missing from the NVIDIA Control Panel->Display->Change Resolution page. [2117226]
• [Pascal GPU + Kepler GPU]: After installing the driver and rebooting the system, the drive may fail to load. [200394820]
• [Far Cry 5]: Green flickering occurs in the game when using HDR with non-native resolution. [200399992]

Για minimal installation(Χωρίς το bloatware) αφήνουμε και το φάκελο του GFE και απλά δεν το επιλέγουμε κατά την εγκατάσταση γιατί αλλιώς δεν ξεκινάει το setup, άλλαξε το installer η NVIDIA.

Το bloatware ποιο είναι για να γνωρίζουμε;

3D Vision, GFE, HD Audio, Telemetry και γενικά όλοι οι υπόλοιποι φάκελοι που βλέπεις μετά το extract, εκτός από αυτούς στην παραπάνω φωτογραφία.

Εχει κάνεις αλλος προβλημα μαυρης οθονης με τους 397.55, εχω ξεμείνει με αυτούς επειδη δε προλαβαινω λογω δουλειάς να κάνω καθε λίγο και λιγάκι update και σημερα ανοιξα τον υπολογιστή εφαγα μαυρη οθονη, εκανα ενα ρεσταρτ και μπουταρε κανονικά, τη φαση?

Έχει κανείς πρόβλημα με το GFE 2.x (συγκεκριμένα με το Shadowplay) και τους τελευταίους drivers?

NVIDIA GRAPHICS FIRMWARE UPDATE TOOL FOR DISPLAYPORT 1.3 AND 1.4 DISPLAYS

To enable the latest DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 features, your graphics card may require a firmware update.

Without the update, systems that are connected to a DisplayPort 1.3 / 1.4 monitor could experience blank screens on boot until the OS loads, or could experience a hang on boot. 

The NVIDIA Firmware Updater will detect whether the firmware update is needed, and if needed, will give the user the option to update it. 

If you are currently experiencing a blank screen or hang on boot with a DP 1.3 or 1.4 monitor, please try one of the following workarounds in order to run the tool:
 

• Boot using DVI or HDMI
• Boot using a different monitor
• Change boot mode from UEFI to Legacy; or Legacy to UEFI.
• Boot using an alternate graphics source (secondary or integrated graphics card)

This is GeForce Hot Fix driver version 398.18 that addresses the following:

-  Black Screen when booting Windows after installing 397.93 display driver

Καλα τοσο μ....ες ειναι, τι κανουν τα παλικαρια εκει με τους driver για να μη πω τιποτα πιο βαρυ και φαω και ban, κατεβαζα το state of decay απο το windows store και ξαφνικα εχω 100% ισχυ στον επεξεργαστη κολλησανε τα παντα στη κυριολεξια τα παντα το pc σερνοτανε λες και εχει celeron πρωτης γενιας και στο boot τρωω μαυρη οθονη συν οτι μου αλλαζει και το φοντο στην οθονη κλειδωματος. Επισης μετα σε idle το pc ετρωγε lag, τι ειναι αυτες οι διακοπες συστηματος που εγραφε ουτε που ξερω υποθετω απ την nvidia. Εχω τους 397.93, το lag που εφαγα παιζει να οφειλεται και αυτο στους driver ή τα εφτυσε το pc μου γιαιτ τετοιο lag δεν εχω ξαναφαει και δεν εχω και τιποτα πειρατικο ή σπασμενο μεσα.

 

EDIT: Κατα την εγκατασταση καινουριων drivers μου πεταει ενα μυνημα, τι ειναι ολα αυτα ρε παιδια, να αρχισω να ανησυχω?

Τίποτα δεν γίνεται, ψαχτείτε αλλού για τα προβλήματα που έχετε, οι drivers είναι μια χαρά.

Οι τελευταίοι 3-4 drivers ήταν για τα πανηγύρια, δεν ξέρω τι λες Psycho.

Δεν θυμαμαι ποτε να βγηκε driver και να ειχε θετικό feedback απο day 1, σε λιγο καιρο θα λετε "οκ θα γυρίσω πίσω στον 398.11 που ηταν stable"
