Need for Speed: Rivals Brings Back Car Customization, Police Pursuits

Need for Speed: Rivals, the next installment in the racing series, will bring back lots of classic features, like police pursuits and car customization, according to developer Ghost Games.

 

 According to the developer's Executive Producer, Marcus Nilsson, who talked with fans on the official website, Ghost is formed of veterans from many great studios, including DICE, Bizarre, Turn 10, or Rockstar, each with lots of experience in racing games.

 

 What's more, Nilsson confirmed that Rivals will place a big emphasis on police pursuits, allowing players to experience the cop and racer side, but also on car customization.

 

 It's unclear just how far that customization will go, but Nilsson promises that Rivals will raise the franchise's bar in terms of excellence.

Το NFS είχε μια επιτυχημένη πορεία και βασιζόταν κυρίως σε supercars με εξαίρεση τα NFS Underground. Μετά από αυτά άρχισε η κατρακύλα.

Μπορει καποιος να τους πει να σταματησουν να βγαλουν αυτα τα αισχη Burnout-NFS παιχνιδια και να βγαλουν κανα καινουριο Underground?Δεν ειναι τυχαιο οτι ειχανε κανει τρελες πωλησεις...Αμα ηθελα να παιξω burnout θα επαιζα burnout..Ουτε καν δεν εχουνε σχεση με τα παλια NFS...Tragic

Monthly Mere Excuses – Need For Speed: Rivals Will Be Locked At 30FPS Even On The PC

 

It is also interesting how this series (NFS) is going downhill on the PC due to the idiotic decisions that were made from its own developers. Need For Speed: The Run was also locked at 30fps (but thankfully a patch was released later on that unlocked it). Need For Speed: Most Wanted suffered from a lot of performance issues that most of them never got addressed. And now, Need For Speed: Rivals returns to the 30fps lock.

 

Hilarious to say the least!
