Bethesda to raise Fallout level cap to 30

 

Bethesda Softworks plans to raise the Fallout 3 level cap to 30 in the upcoming downloadable content for the game.

 

"Along with removing the game's 'ending' with Broken Steel, we figure raising the level cap would allow them to [enjoy the game for longer]. We plan on raising it to level 30 - but it will be a long, hard climb to get there!" the DLC's lead producer Jeff Gardiner told Eurogamer in an exclusive interview today.

 

Broken Steel will be the third instalment of DLC and is due out in March. The bulk of today's interview - and three new screenshots - concern the first part, Operation: Anchorage, which is due out this month.

 

Fallout 3 fans with strong memories may remember that Bethesda's VP of PR and marketing Pete Hines had previously told Eurogamer readers the firm had "no plans to increase the level cap beyond 20". "Pete was talking about the level cap in the game as it was released," Gardiner clarified today.

Fallout 3 DLC Coming January 27

 

The first of three downloadable expansion packs for Fallout 3 will arrive on January 27, developer Bethesda today revealed alongside its release of the new 1.1 patch.

 

Dubbed Operation: Anchorage, the download is said to contain roughly 4-5 hours of gameplay, allowing buyers to re-live the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from China.

 

Operation: Anchorage will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10) on PC and Xbox 360. Per an exclusivity agreement with Microsoft, the content will not be released on PS3.

 

The second pack, The Pitt, arrives in February, and offers a look at post-apocalyptic Pittsburg. Broken Steel, due in March, continues where the main adventure left off, allowing players to join the Brotherhood of Steel, and raises the game's level cap to 30.

Μια άλλη ερώτηση . Εφτιαξά Αμερικάνικο λογαριασμό στο windowslive αλλά για να το κατεβάσεις θέλει κάποια points. Αυτά από τι κατάλαβα τα αγοράζεις. Το θέμα είναι ότι αν πας να κάνεις την αγορά σε βγάζει σαν κάτοικο Αμερικής και νομίζω ότι δεν θα προχωρήσει. Ξέρει κανείς τι γίνετε?
