Rainbow Six: Patriots announced for 2013 launch

Ubisoft’s announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Patriots following much pre-announce speculation on the game, confirming a 2013 release on PS3, 360 and PC.

 

The game, mainly made by Ubisoft Montreal with collaborations between Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Red Storm, will see a “dynamic single-player storyline” that will be told from multiple characters.

 

R6: Patriots wil pull the series, which has sold 25 million units LTD, in “an exciting new narrative direction,” according to Ubi creative director David Sears. “This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience.”

 

Team Rainbow’s threat are a group of terrorists known as the ‘True Patriots,’ who claim the American government has been compromised by corrupt politicians and corporate interests.

 

As Rainbow, you’ll need to make “tough ethical decisions” in order to stop them, confirming previous rumours of making morality choices.

 

Patriots will also include “innovative” co-op and multiplayer segments. While it isn’t mentioned in the press release, the game will also support Kinect in some form, following the announcement back in June at E3 that all future Tom Clancy titles would support the motion controller.

και ρωτάω εγώ, αφού η ubi έχει πει όλα τα σχετικά περί πειρατείας στο pc gaming με τις ακυρώσεις τίτλων εδώ πως και την πήρε ο πόνος να το βγάλει και στο pc??

μπορει να το ακυρωσει και αυτο για pc που ξερεις? τα I am alive και ghost recon τα ακυρωσε για pc ενω ειχαν ανακοινωθει εδω και πολυ καιρο. Αρα δεν αποκλειεται να το ακυρωσει και αυτο

Ubisoft: Rainbow Six: Patriots still in development

 

Ubisoft marketing VP Tony Key has confirmed the game’s ongoing development, confirming it didn’t feel like the right time to show new stuff from the shooter.

“Let’s just say that Rainbow 6 is still in active development but what we decided was that the best thing for the brand was to not bring it to the show right now,” he said.

“We have a lot of other games that we want to focus people on and there will be more information on Rainbow coming.”

When asked if Patriots had shuffled to next-gen, Key added: “This is the only generation [PS3/360] that I know about, so I would assume yes.”

Επαναφερω το θεμα,το οποιο βλεπω ότι εχει ξεχαστεί εδώ και καιρο,αλλα μαλλον εχει ξεχαστεί επειδή δεν υπαρχουν νεα από την εταιρεια.Ειδα το παιχνιδι τυχαια και επειδή φαινεται καλο θα θελα να ρωτησω αν εχετε ακουσει κατι σχετικα με ημερομηνια κυκλοφοριας.

“We had a core team. They had a good vision. They got started, and then the game wasn’t working. So [they had] to start again,” Detoc explained. “There’s an editorial group in Ubisoft, a big group, very influential. If the game is not good enough, they say it’s not good enough. Most of the time, the team will say, ‘yeah, I know.’ But sometimes they want to continue in a direction where you say, ‘no, it’s not going to work.’”

“Rainbow had to be remade,” he continued. “Now they’re going to have the benefit of the new consoles, if and when it comes out. It’s one of those examples where you try, it doesn’t work, you try again. If it doesn’t work, we’re not going to bring it to you.”

μιας και ακυρώθηκε και βγαίνει κάτι άλλο..Ας κλειδωθεί,γιατί μάλλον θα εμφανιστεί κανείς σε 4-5 χρόνια και θα ρωτάει τί έγινε ο τίτλος
