Εννοείς ΚΑΙ ΤΙΣ RAM; Γιατί πολλοί μου πάνε και κουμπώνουν κάτι διαστημικά XMP πάνω από το IMC τους και το βιάζουν. OC είναι και αυτό...

2666MHz είναι οι RAM, supported από το memory list και μέσα στο μέγιστο όριο της μητρικής μου... Επίσης οι RAM είναι σε αυτό το XMP profile από το 2017 που έστησα το PC, το δέχομαι ότι μπορεί να έχει χαλάσει κάτι από τότε, αλλά δεν έχω δει κάποιο σημάδι για unstable RAM (έχω τρέξει διάφορα memtest και τον τελευταίο καιρό για να σιγουρευτώ ότι δε φταίει κάτι άλλο εκτός gpu/gpu drivers).

Λοιπόν όσο πιο σύντομα γίνεται...
Ήμουν στην αναζήτηση εταιρίας κατασκευής για την RX 580 8 GBs πριν 2 χρόνια, είμαι στον τρίτο αν δεν κάνω λάθος. Γενικά είμαι της Gigabyte σε Motherboards & GPUs πολλά χρόνια. Η 580 είναι ιδιαίτερη περίπτωση, πολύ δυνατή κάρτα για mid range, αλλά υπερχρονισμένη από την προηγούμενη σειρά, με αρκετά ανεβασμένη ανάγκη για ρεύματα και ανάλογες αυξήσεις στις θερμοκρασίες. Και εκεί χρειάζεται καλή υλοποίηση του συστήματος ψύξης.
Υπήρξα μία πενταετία πελάτης της Γαλλικής αν δεν κάνω λάθος Sapphire, πριν 10+ χρόνια, και λέω πενταετία γιατί κάθε χρόνο γινόταν εντός της εγγύησης αλλαγή της κάρτας και μάλιστα με το επόμενο μοντέλο, από το Πλαίσιο, πώς το έπαθαν τότε και δεν μου έβαζαν πιστωτικό δεν ξέρω. Με τα πολλά η Sapphire τότε από αξιοπιστία κατασκευής ήταν χάλια, λογικά το γνώριζαν και στο Πλαίσιο.
Στην αναζήτηση μου για 580 η Gigabyte για πρώτη φορά δεν με κάλυπτε απόλυτα, η Sapphire τα είπα πιο πάνω, και κατέληξα στην XFX, Αμερικάνικη εταιρία αν δεν κάνω λάθος, αξιόπιστη σαν εταιρία. Για την 580 της τα reviews του εξωτερικού ήταν ΟΚ, το σύστημα ψύξης φαινόταν δυνατό, το ίδιο και στα reviews.
Την παραγγέλνω και λόγο ελλείψεων και τότε, όχι όπως τώρα εννοείται, περιμένω να την παραλάβει το κατάστημα. Στο διάστημα αυτό συνεχίζω να ψάχνομαι για το συγκεκριμένο μοντέλο, πέρα από reviews, και σε ξενόφωνα forums βρίσκω λίγο έναν χαμούλη, για το σύστημα ψύξης! Δεν θυμάμαι ακριβώς γιατί 2+ χρόνια, δεν εφάπτεται καλά το σύστημα ψύξης, ότι δεν ψύχει τις μνήμες ή τα voltage regulators κάτι τέτοια θυμάμαι και προβλήματα με τους drivers που δεν είχαν άλλοι κάτοχοι άλλων εταιριών της 580.
Καταλαβαίνεις τι έπαθα, ακυρώνω εννοείται την παραγγελία και συνεχίζω να ψάχνομαι και βρίσκω αυτό που δεν περίμενα ούτε εγώ, αλλά αλλάζουν αυτά με τα χρόνια. Ότι η Sapphire θεωρείται πλέον από το πιο αξιόπιστους κατασκευαστές σε GPUs της AMD!!
Γι'αυτό σου λέω κοίταξε να βρεις 580 άλλης εταιρίας, στην Αθήνα είσαι απ' όσο λέει το προφίλ σου, σε έναν τεχνικό κάπου τέλος πάντων, ένα κούμπωμα της κάρτας είναι και μερικές δοκιμές και εκεί θα γνωρίζεις άμεσα που οφείλονται τα προβλήματα που αναφέρεις...
Αλλά μόλις το είδα θυμήθηκα αυτή την ιστορία γι' αυτό έγραψα αυτό το κατεβατό...
Και κατά έναν περίεργο τρόπο ήμουν σίγουρος ότι έχεις την συγκεκριμένη κάρτα της XFX...  

Τα δέχομαι τα παραπάνω, και γενικά πήγα και εγώ στην XFX καθώς είχα και παλιότερα και πήγαινε πολύ καλά, τώρα για τυχόν παράπονα και γκρίνιες για θερμοκρασίες και ψύκτρες, σίγουρα υπάρχουν, αλλά όσο η θερμοκρασία είναι σε "safe" όρια και δεν φτάνει σε θερμοκρασίες που μπορεί να είναι ζημιογόνες για τη κάρτα, θεωρητικά δε θα έπρεπε να έχει θέμα. Επίσης διαβάζω και σε διάφορα forums ότι κάρτες γραφικών μπορούν να τρέχουν πχ και σε 95 βαθμούς χωρίς να είναι harmful, και εμένα σε full load δεν έχει γράψει ούτε καλοκαίρι πάνω από 85 πχ. 

Εννοείται ότι η κάθε διαφορετική υλοποίηση της ίδιας κάρτας, είναι χρονισμένη διαφορετικά, οπότε μπορεί να έχει και διαφορετική συμπεριφορά με κάθε driver, οπότε όπως αναφέρεις, μπορεί άλλη υλοποίηση να παίξει κομπλέ, ίσως ακόμα και ίδια υλοποίηση με πχ λιγότερο usage or w/e να παίξει καλύτερα με latest drivers (διαβάζω στο reddit ότι και με τον latest whql παίζουν κάποιοι κομπλέ χωρίς θέματα με την XFX). 

Bottom line, είναι πλέον outdated gpu η RX580 (χρονικά, όχι από άποψη επιδόσεων), και δεν έχω τρομερά expectations πλέον, απλά τα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζω είναι μόνο σε latest εκδόσεις των drivers, που σε παλιότερους δεν συμβαίνουν καθόλου, γι' αυτό είπα να ρωτήσω. Θεωρώ ότι δεν είναι τόσο θέμα να μείνω σε παλιότερο driver που είναι stable με τη κάρτα μου, μέχρι να πέσουν οι τιμές πάλι σε normal επίπεδα για να πάω στην επόμενη.

Ο 7700Κ έχει imc 2400 mhz. Άρα με κουμπωμένο XMP 2667 mhz, τον έχεις oc. Just saying...

Σωστά, οπότε θα κάνω τις δοκιμές μου και θα επανέλθω να δούμε που βρισκόμαστε. Θα ξαναβάλω τους τελευταίους drivers και θα παρατηρήσω τι συμβαίνει με ρεύματα, κατανάλωση κλπ, μήπως κλοτσάει το τροφοδοτικό. Θα γυρίσω και το XMP profile στα 2400MHz να δούμε αν θα έχει διαφορά στη σταθερότητα. Πάντως με τους 20.9.1 δεν έχει κλοτσήσει καμία φορά, και έχω παίξει αρκετές ώρες warzone, οπότε θα δούμε με τους πιο καινούριους τι γίνεται. Ευχαριστώ για τις πληροφορίες!
