Επειδή έχω αρχίσει να τρελαίνομαι, κάτι παίζει με τα video profiles και το netflix.

το έχω στο standard, οταν βάλω το netflix πλήρη οθόνη μου δίνει σίγουρα ενα +15% φωτεινότητα στο βίντεο και χαλάει τα χρώματα.

Αν αλλάξω προφίλ πάλι στην εναλλαγή απο πλήρη οθόνη σε κανονική παραθυριακή προβολή πάει να αλλάξει τη φωτεινότητα αλλά δεν τα καταφέρνει όμως χαλάει τα χρώματα.

προσπαθώ να δω μια σειρά εδώ και 1 ώρα και δεν έχω βρει τρόπο να μην κάνει αυτή τη ΜΠΟΥΡΔΑ. Σίγουρα πριν 2-3 μήνες που έβλεπα πάλι μια σειρά δεν το έκανε 100%.

Εχω δοκιμάσει και καθαρή εγκατάσταση των 3ων τελευταίων driver αλλά ΠΑΛΙ κάνει το ίδιο.

Ρυθμιση του νετφλιξ δεν είναι σίγουρα, όπως και δεν το κάνει αυτόματα πχ η οθόνη μιας και βλέπω τα νούμερα. ΜΟΝΟ στο βίντεο αλλάζει τη φωτεινότητα.

Το ίδιο κάνει και στον edge όπου βλεπω αλλά και στην εφαρμογή των 10.

Μήπως έχεις ανοιχτο κανένα Night Light και το κλείνει λόγω DRM? Και εμένα μου αλλάζει τα χρώματα ο Edge τώρα που δοκίμασα, και ανεβάζει brightness, αλλά π.χ σε Firefox που δεν έχει ολόκληρο το DRM, δεν φαίνεται να το κάνει. Πάντως φαίνονται καλύτερα τα χρώματα σε full screen με Edge, όχι χειρότερα 😛

Night light εννοώ είτε των Windows είτε το f.lux είτε το Lightbulb που αλλάζει τα χρώματα όταν νυχτώνει. Τώρα που το έκλεισα εγώ ας πούμε δυσκολεύομαι να δω αν αλλάζει το brightness, τα χρώματα σίγουρα αλλάζουν. Δεν νομίζω ότι είναι κάτι της Radeon, μάλλον το Netflix εσκεμμένα σερβίρει χειρότερα χρώματα / bitrate σε συσκευές χωρις DRM ώστε να μην βγαίνουν αντίγραφα στα torrentάδικα. Δοκίμασα να δω τα στατιστικά μέσω του Edge αλλά δεν φαίνονται για το full screen, μόνο για το 720p δείχνει

 

 

edit: Επίσης παίζει ρόλο και ο player και πως αντιμετωπίζει τα χρώματα / filters / κτλπ κτλπ... εδώ ας πουμε ένα βιντεάκι με BT.2020 color gamut σε local player vs BT709 από youtube.

Μέχρι στιγμής, έβαλα ενα πρόσθετο στην αλεπού για 1080 netflix και βλέπω έτσι, μου κάνει εντύπωση πάντως που γενικότερα δεν μπορώ να βρω κάτι αντίστοιχο σε topics έξω.

Υπάρχει περίπτωση, τα codecs που έχει βάλει ο potplayer να ρημάζουν το σύστημα;

Το βλέπω ναι αλλά μου φαίνονται καλύτερα τα χρώματα, όχι χειρότερα. Και έχω την εντύπωση ότι ανεβάινει και το bitrate αλλά δεν μπορώ να το κάνω κάπως verify. Εγώ πάντως το βρίσκω σε πολλά topics, αν και δεν έχω καταλάβει ακόμα τι είναι. Για παράδειγμα αν όντως είναι το HDR και το BT.2020 color, βλέπω ότι ενεργοποιείται σε Full screen exclusive mode, που βγάζει κάπως νόημα. Αλλά δεν νομίζω ότι είναι αυτό γιατί δεν αλλοιώνει τα χρώματα όπως στα παραδείγματα παραπάνω που έδειξα.

Νομίζω ότι έχει να κάνει με το API που χρησιμοποιείται. O Edge και το Movies & TV π.χ χρησιμοποιεί απο όσο ξέρω D3D11 για το decoding, οι άλλοι players εξαρτάται απο την υλοποίηση τους. Με λίγο Googling βλέπω ότι μπορεί να επηρεάσει τα χρώματα το ποιο API χρησιμοποείται. Σε αυτήν την περίπτωση ας πούμε το έχουν αφήσει χωρις fix το πρόβλημα και σου λέει αν έχεις πρόβλημα είτε κλείσε το hardware acceleration ή άλλαξε το color space απτους drivers.

Συγκεκριμένα ο EVR που χρησιμοποιειται απο τον Microsoft Edge επιτρέπει την αλλαγή των χρωμάτων απο όσο γράφει το wikipedia.

Απο εκεί και πέρα βλέπω και άλλα posts που μπορεί να αναφέρουν πρόβλημα στον τρόπο που χειρείζεται το hardware της κάρτας τα χρώματα και το brightness, αλλά αυτό νομίζω θα έπρεπε να επηρεάζει το encoding μόνο. Δεν είμαι και σίγουρος 😛
