The Next-Gen Xbox Is Getting a Hell of an Exclusive, Sources Say

 

 

The long-awaited first game from Respawn Entertainment—the studio helmed by the creators of Call of Duty—will be exclusive to the next-gen Xbox, according to two unrelated sources familiar with the game. One of our sources indicates that there will also be an Xbox 360 version, but no versions for rival PlayStation and Nintendo consoles.

Κρίμα, και το περίμενα απο τότε που άνοιξε η Respawn στην ΕΑ..

To campaign στα cod δε θα επρεπε καν να υπαρχει.Κοροιδευουν τον κοσμο με ενα 4ωρο campaign.Ολη η δυναμικη του τιτλου βασιζεται στο on line κομματι και δε μου φαινεται παραλογο να το κανουν αυτο σε ενα παρομοιο παιχνιδι.

Το μόνο θετικό από αυτή την είδηση, είναι το exclusivity για το 360 και γενικά το γεγονός πως θα βγει το παιχνίδι και για 360. Μπορεί να δώσει λίγο ακόμα ώθηση στο γερό-360

A few months ago, I spoke to someone familiar with the situation over at MS.

I kept pandering him for performance numbers and how well it translates into what we see on screen. I wanted to know if anything had changed from the leaked specs we had in the original PDF floating around.

A week after the PS4 press conference he cracked and admitted that beta kits were running hotter than they wanted. He claimed the teams is experiencing headaches trying to get all the pieces to fit together in a timely fashion. The last thing he told me was, "Performance, at this moment, is the least of our concerns."

I know this sounds like some sort of fanfic, but I am sure someone or the other can back me up on if they have the courage to do so.

Also, temper your expectations for Ryse. The animation system is supposedly janky. It's not a Kinnect title only btw, it has been converted into a full featured AAA game so that is something atleast.

Λογικό .... αυτό να το βλέπουν όσοι νομίζουν ότι θα μπορούσε κάποια από τις 3 εταιρίες να βάλει οποιαδήποτε high end gpu, με τις θερμοκρασίες και τις καταναλώσεις  ρεύματος που όλοι γνωρίζουμε  πλήν των mobile , σε next gen κονσόλα .

λογικό οτι θα διάλεγαν το cod για launch premier της κονσόλας, πιστέυω οτι  τεράστια υπομονή θα έκανε η activision γιατί ήθελε ήδη να το διαφημίσει στον κόσμο και ας έγινε leaked το όνομα, αλλα στάνταρ θα δούμε τουλάχιστον 10 λεπτά gameplay στο event οπότε θα πάρει την διαφήμιση το παιχνίδι

Ναί, αλλά έβαζα και το Bungie (τις περισσότερες φορές).

Κυρίως την κίνηση της Bungie ήθελα να επισημάνω.

Το μόνο που περιμένω στις 21 του Μάη είναι την Remedy ανακοινώσει ένα νέο τίτλο. Κάτι πιο κοντά σε Max Payne film noir κατάσταση. Ένα Alan Wake 2 δεν θα με χαλούσε φυσικά αλλά όλοι ξέρουν πως αργά ή γρήγορα θα έρθει σε PC.

 

Και έχω μερικές ελπίδες πως ΙΣΩΣ η Rare κάνει κάτι σοβαρό σαν ένα καινούργιο Killer Instinct αντί για kinect family αρλούμπες.

Alan Wake 2 θα δούμε σχεδόν σίγουρα. Αν όχι κάτι προχωρημένο, σίγουρα ανακοίνωση. Αρα για άλλο παιχνίδι μην ελπίζεις και πολύ. Η Remedy είναι μικρό στούντιο για να ετοιμάζει δύο παιχνίδια ταυτόχρονα. 

 

Το CoD δεν πάει για κυκλοφορία στις 5 Νοεμβρίου; Από αυτό άραγε μπορούμε να υποθέσουμε ότι το Χμποχ θα έχει κυκλοφορήσει ως τότε;

Is Microsoft Lagging Behind with its Next-Gen Titles?

A recent article from Kotaku offered some good news for the next-gen Xbox, noting that it will be receiving an exclusive title from Respawn Entertainment. While that’s certainly a point in the software giant’s favor, the article also reported that one anonymous, yet reliable source claimed that Microsoft is nearly six months behind in its title development for the Xbox 720, even though the console is expected to launch by the end of this year.

 

Kotaku’s source noted that due to the development lag, Microsoft was forced to cancel numerous in-house next-gen projects, and that Sony is currently ahead in terms of both software and hardware development for the PlayStation 4.

 

In response to its internal troubles, one insider said that Microsoft is in the process of doing all it can to sign exclusive titles for the next Xbox, such as the one that will be provided by Respawn Entertainment.
